Nothing counts more then results. There should be you ultimate goal. It needs to be clear, it needs to be final. So many of us, especially those with an artistic touch, may have tendency of creating a masterpiece in their own eyes. There is nothing wrong with that, but it’s not the way to develop a successful muse. What you need to ask yourself, is if your current action brings results? If it’s not, maybe it’s time to refocus your actions. There’s are so many things that you can convince that will be bring indirect sales, knowledge….whatever you might think. You need to stop all of that, NOW! Especially when you are in your monthly challenge. It is simple, every action, need to product the most result.
If you want to achieve the same results as someone that is already producing them you need to model them. Based on NLP there are 3 basic elements you need to model:
- Model Beliefs
- Model syntax
- Model Physiology
Model Beliefs
Let’s assume that your beliefs are a programme in your mind that allows you to do certain things and blocks some other. Until you change this code, of what is possible or not, it really doesn’t matter what action you will take, you will not be able to accept the result. You can always the reality based on your belief. For example, those who believe in Jesus as God will believe in his miracle, as opposed to a non believer who will be able to explain to himself that there must be a scientific explanation. Same goes for the Copernicus and Galilee revolution. You couldn’t explain to the people the earth is round and is in fact turning around the sun. Until you change your beliefs you won’t be able to accept something even if you have all the facts in front of you.
For a muse modelling beliefs would be translated into the mission statement. Those people believe in yourself and your products. What kind of beliefs is associate? Do you have a cause, do you add value, do you make somebody’s life better…these are the questions that need to asked yourself. Your muse needs to serve the people and the community. It needs to bring value to those people
Model syntax
Coming from a flash developer background, and in fact any programmer will tell you, I truly understand the importance of syntax. Placing, code or any actions in a specific way is key to create the desired result. You may do the exact same thing as your mentor, but if you don’t follow the right, it might not give you the same results. You need to be precise
Model Physiology
The importance of physiology is under estimated, even if researches has proven over and over that non-verbal communication represents more then 70% of any given communication. Your body is everything, it is in fact the greatest tool you will ever have. It is your duty to discover and understand your body, in order to be able to model it in order to produce the most optimal results. You may do it the hard way, by learning everything from scratch, but if you want to do it the express way you need to model physiology. You need to be able to reproduce the body and gestures of another person. With the modelling of the person beliefs and syntax, you dramatically improve your chances of creating exactly the same results. The MVC pattern applied to Modelling
The MVC pattern is computer programming design patterns simplifying a complex problems into 3 distinct but interrelated parts. It stands for Model view Controller which basically separate the graphic user interface from the logic, data and user events elements. For those of you less techy person, this standard solution enables to create faster, more reliable, customizable applications. By transporting this pattern into our modelling process we will have:
- The Model which represent the logic and the core of the program. These are your beliefs. As with yourself, this is what you truly are, what you belief in.
- View – represents the visual elements of the application. This is your external self, your physiology. It may not contain any of the logic, but it is what people see, how people perceive you. The view is improved by modelling physiology and developing the specific external elements that will produce effective communication.
- Controller – the controller is responsible for the time element between the model and view. It is improved by modelling syntax and being able to controller how to align your beliefs and your body. It when you are perfectly aligned between your core, your thoughts and your action that you may produce the best results.
